Prelim Show Progress + How to get involved and support the show!

Hello everyone!
Here is a quick preview of some of the portraits thus far, via these super super rough sketches. The show is less than 4 weeks away and everything is progressing well, but there's so much still left to do! We'll probably only do one more update right before the actual show date... So, stay tuned.

Also, one last reminder to any backers that have not backed yet, but are still going to. Although, we'll be accepting any support all the way up to the show date on January 14th (in the form of Paypal, checks sent to our PO Box, or donations and art sales on the actual day of the show), the cutoff for backers who want CUSTOM art created for them that will be featured in the show is this Saturday the 24th. Thank you in advance for whatever support you feel led to give!

Solo Exhibition for artist Jerrell Conner 01.14.2012

The show is called Mindset Vertical. It features the art work of Illustrator Jerrell Conner the creator of the Revelations book series. The event is portrait/character study series that explores different backgrounds, beliefs, and thoughts of the diverse people featured in the show, including some of his Revelations characters. You might recognize some of the faces… heck, you might even be one of the faces!

This is Jerrell's first solo show in over 5 years. It also doubles as a fundraiser to help Kickstart work on his next book in the Revelations series. Donations will be accepted, but the show is free and there will be refreshments, giveaways, raffles, and tons to do since it will be part of the East Village 2nd Saturday Art Walk in Downtown Long Beach.
Also Also, it doubles as the artists birthday party (which is just 2 days prior to the show). So, for all of you that want to do something nice for the artist on his special day, buy an art piece, raffle tickets, or donate to fund the new book project.
